Bridge over Scrivia stream
Total collapse of a provincial/regional bridge over the Scrivia stream near Arquata Scrivia (Alessandria, Piemonte) on 26 November 2002, triggered by autumn flooding. The Scrivia is a major Apennine tributary of the Po flowing through the Alessandria province; Arquata Scrivia lies at the foot of the Appennines where the Scrivia enters the plain.
