Bridge over Fersina stream

Total collapse of a provincial/regional bridge over the Fersina stream near Fierozzo (Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige) on 28-29 October 2018, triggered by the extreme hydraulic loading of the Tempesta Vaia storm system that struck northeastern Italy with record rainfall and wind gusts exceeding 200 km/h. The Fersina valley was severely affected by flooding and landslides during the storm. No fatalities directly attributed to this collapse.
