Bridge over Montone river

Total collapse of a cycle-pedestrian bridge over the Montone river in Forlì (Emilia-Romagna) on 2 February 2018, caused by hydraulic forces during a flood event. The Montone river, which runs through the Forlì urban park area, has a history of flooding events that have caused repeated infrastructure damage. No fatalities or injuries were reported.
