Ponte Belvedere (Cavalcavia Belvedere)

The original Ponte Belvedere (Cavalcavia Belvedere) in L'Aquila remains included as PC associated with the 6 April 2009 earthquake on the curator's confirmation. Il Capoluogo's 16 July 2021 retrospective, supplied again on 16 October 2026, reports post-earthquake closure but also attributes to university investigations an absence of severe structural earthquake damage and positive load tests. It describes deterioration associated with water infiltration and maintenance separately from later replacement decisions. Its discussion of a 2020 assessment is not proof of severe damage caused in April 2009. Il Centro's retrospective and the replacement designer supply the other cited accounts. These differing reports remain disclosed; PC is curator-assigned, not independently confirmed by the supplied article. The affected primary component and original structural system remain unspecified. No replacement cable-stayed geometry is transferred; casualties remain unknown and the mapped site is approximate.
