Bridge over Rio Bevera
Total collapse of a provincial/regional bridge over the Rio Bevera near Monesi di Triora (Imperia, Liguria) on 24 November 2016, triggered by a landslide associated with the extreme rainfall event that struck the Liguria di Ponente — particularly the Valle Arroscia and upper Val Bormida areas, where accumulations reached 349 mm in 24 hours at Pieve di Teco. The Monesi di Triora area is in the upper Tanaro basin and was severely affected by the event. No fatalities or injuries were reported.
