Bridge over Dragone stream
Total collapse of a municipal bridge over the Dragone stream near Palagano (Modena, Emilia-Romagna) on 31 December 2009, triggered by hydraulic forces during intense end-of-year rainfall. Palagano is a mountain municipality in the northern Apennines where the Dragone stream flows. No fatalities or injuries were reported.
