ARCUS Atlas record

Ponte Lenzino

Total collapse of Ponte Lenzino on the SS45 over the Trebbia on 3 October 2020. Early prosecution hypotheses focused on foundation scour, but the 2026 GUP decision, relying on court-expert evidence, attributed the collapse to movement of the Carisasca landslide acting on the Genoa-side abutment and rejected river erosion as the governing cause. Classified here as Landslide; the detailed structural process is retained as Other documented mode.
