Bridge over Rio Ciliegio

Total collapse of a cycle-pedestrian bridge over the Rio Ciliegio near Trasta, a fraction of Genova (Liguria) on 10 November 2014, triggered by the major flash flood that struck the Genova area — the second catastrophic alluvione in three years after the deadly 2011 event. The Rio Ciliegio is a minor stream in the Genova hinterland that overflowed during the event, which caused 1 death and widespread infrastructure damage across the city.
