Bridge over Maisoncle stream
Total collapse of a provincial/regional bridge over the Maisoncle stream in Valsavarenche (Aosta, Valle d'Aosta) on 23 June 2002, part of the intense summer rainfall event that struck the Gran Paradiso area. A second bridge on the same stream collapsed on the same day (B02.06.06). No fatalities or injuries were reported.
